Another rose from the Duluth Rose Garden. The main feature for this one is the yellow to red petals, and the supporting burgundy of the leaves.

Smoke from fires bring the utmost red to the sun over Nebraska.

An almost blooming thistle, and a ladybug. The red/green contrast is almost as good as yellow/blue.

Unplanting
A dead tree is removed by helicopter from Chatfield reservoir. Recent increases in water level killed large swaths of timber by the reservoir, and heli-logging has been the chosen method to remove them.
Cold Coffee
